It Baffles me when Men fear Risk

It baffles me when men fear risk
We take a risk to be alive
It’s when we live that we can die
We go to bed every night
Believing that we’ll see another day
We see a seat and we sit on it
Believing that it’ll carry our weight
We rush to eat the food set before us
Believing that that it’s void of venom
So why do we fear to live our dream?
To take a dive to the other shore?
Only to pray that it’ll happen
Without our will or by sheer design
That’s in itself a risk in disguise.
