I Wish it Didn’t Happen

I wish it didn’t happen, but it did.
I know you’d have stopped it if you could.
I know you couldn’t, and I couldn’t indeed.
But the One who could kept a silent look.
As He looked long time ago.
When His Son was on a hook.
It pleased Him not that He had to go.
Or do you think He never shook?
As I was pondering on this, I was humbly chided:
I am where I was when my Son was fiddled.
I am where I was when His sons were misguided.
Like the Sphinx’s, so great a riddle.
The creation still awaits a resolution.
Only then will you have a full consolation.
